i got this program and installed it on my home network, the whole thing works like an edsel. I was better off using the free public versions. Desktop x seems like everyone of the themes either is for a different resolution or the theme is full of objects that are incompatible with my version. I am identified as my ex-wife whom i'd love to strangle and have no way of editing her name off a program that I paid for (over six months ago, and just now got an email telling me how to get into it)and am overall pretty much disgusted with. No I most likely will not recommend it to my friends and i will definitly not be resubscribing.
put that in your pipe and toke it.

Alrighty then. If you choose not to resubscribe, then all I can say is "your loss, our gain."

The program isn't buggy. You just have to realize that unlike some programs, backward compatibility is not a given in DesktopX. If you are not using the newest versions, then the pool of themes/objects is limited to older ones. Sure the public/trial version will work even for the newer ones, just some functionality is missing. Helping to support programs is one way to ensure things work the way you expect.

Listen to Ghos....... educate yourself before you start slinging accusations. A week ago you were complaining about not being able to find your registration info.

I am not positive, but i dont usually have total mental lapses, i believe i paid for a wincustomize subscription in either my or my wife's name and i remember using a better interface for downloading the skins from your site, but now i cant seem to find a proof of puchase or a serial number anywhere and i've pretty much used up about five or six months of subscription time trying to recover from a major computer crash. Well Frankenstien is back up and running but no file anywhere in here to remind me of my serial or preoof of purchase, i would think that honesty on the part of the corporation would entail a minimal record search to aid me in this quest, otherwise i'm sure i'll blow off renewing. the problem could be a total fictional mental manifestation. so.............

When it was pointed out how simple it is to get this info from Stardock....... did you say thank you? No, you did not.

Speaking for myself only, I think you should learn to play nice, or play somewhere else. If all you're going to do is complain, and make unfounded accusations, I can't see why we need you need you here.
